Maggie Henderson MA (Hons) Archaeology
Maggie Henderson is an archaeologist, with over 20 years’ experience. Prior to setting up as an independent practitioner in August 2012, Maggie had spent six years working as a Senior Archaeologist dealing with historic buildings as part of the Heritage Management team within Archaeology South-East.
The focus of Maggie’s work is historic building survey culminating in the production of detailed illustrated assessments and reports covering a wide range of projects from heritage asset statements through interpretive surveys and full measured surveys (including digital recording and photographic) to providing mitigation advice. Projects range from the smaller scale where information regarding the age, form and function of a structure is required prior to development, to full detailed records of the historic development of a building, or group of buildings (in advance of extensive alteration, additions or replacement).
Maggie’s many clients have included the National Trust with whom she has worked extensively in the South East of England since 2005 and CgMs Ltd for whom she has carried out extensive English Heritage recording actions.
Further historic building and survey experience has been gained in London, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Suffolk and Scotland.
