16th century wainscote scheme and plaster ceiling

Roedean School – former Air Raid Precautions Headquarters built c. 1940 for HMS Vernon. Construction included reinforced concrete and a blast-proof roof behind the unassuming exterior. The building was cleverly desinged in a style and with external materials intended to blend in well with the existing school buildings
